CranioSacral Therapy 1 (CS1)
Prerequisite Information
To attend one of our CranioSacral Therapy 1 (CS1) classes, you must meet the minimum education and state licensure requirements.
Most states and provinces require a “license to touch” to perform CranioSacral Therapy on clients or patients. Therefore, if your state or province requires this licensure, we also require it for attendance in our CS1 class or we require your enrollment as a full-time student in a school that leads to a healthcare professional license.
For any state/province that does not require a hands-on license to perform CranioSacral Therapy, the following minimum prerequisite study is required:
To satisfy this requirement, you must submit proof of completing these studies.
If you need this education:
We offer the following options to help you obtain the necessary education. Links embedded in the text.
If you are currently a licensed or registered healthcare professional, such as a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant, Acupuncturist, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, Osteopath, Medical Doctor, Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Nurse (FPN, NP, RN, LPN), Physician Assistant, Naturopath, IBCLC, Rolfer, ATC (Athletic Trainer Certified), CPM or CM (Certified Professional Midwife), Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) or a full-time student studying to become one of these professionals, you are qualified to attend CS1.
If you are not one of these licensed healthcare practitioners listed above, we recommend you check with your state or province to determine what laws apply.
